The Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit served as an opportinity for the Philippines to tackle trade relations, concerns about migrant workers, terrorism, and the South China Sea. This is a gateway to help one another hand and hand for the partnering for success. Although there were so called "hits" in the topics they were able to address, there was a problem they failed to bring up in the meeting as well. China says that countries would have an " unbridled and unfettered " access to the long fought for territory in the West Philippine Sea.
